Art Teacher - Wigan Secondary School (KS3 & KS4) Location: Wigan Start Date: 3rd November Duration: Until Christmas Daily Rate: Up to £223.62 (depending on experience) Key Stages: KS3 and KS4 Contact: Anthony at Tradewind Recruitment - 0151 221 9666 / anthony.bailey@twrecruitment.com Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Wigan, who are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join their team from 3rd November through to the end of the Autumn term (Christmas). We're looking for a qualified Art Teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. The ideal candidate will have a flair for inspiring creativity and a proven track record of delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that motivate pupils and promote artistic expression. Our client school received a Good Ofsted in November 2024 and is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school who are a community with one common goal, striving for the highest standards in everything they do. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with school and national standards Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Support pupils of varying abilities and ensure progress for all Contribute to the school's creative ethos and wider school activities Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Recent experience teaching Art in a UK secondary school Strong knowledge of the Art curriculum for KS3 & KS4 Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Excellent classroom management and communication skills What We Offer: Competitive pay up to £223.62 per day, dependent on experience Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Opportunity to work in a vibrant, supportive school environment Access to CPD and training opportunities through Tradewind Recruitments partnership with the National College.
