The Role:As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the support network within the school, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. The role is dynamic one day, you may be working alongside a teacher in a mainstream classroom: the next, offering targeted support to students with additional needs such as autism, dyslexia, ADHD or social, emotional and mental health challenges.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis across various subjectsAssisting the classroom teacher in lesson delivery and resource preparationEncouraging engagement and participation from all studentsPromoting inclusion and fostering a safe, supportive learning environmentLiaising with SENCOs, teachers and external professionals to meet student needs About the School:The school is proud of its inclusive ethos, where respect, achievement and community are at the heart of everything they do.
