Part-Time Housekeeper Bowdon (3 Days per Week: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday or Sunday) Location: Bowdon, near Hale Job Type: Part-Time, Live-Out Start Date: Interviews ongoing start date As soon as possible Salary: £18 gross per hour A busy and welcoming family in Bowdon are looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper to help care for their beautiful 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home. Family Background The household includes a friendly professional couple with an adorable 3-year-old son, who is cared for by a full-time nanny. Both parents have demanding jobs, often working long hours and travelling regularly. They are seeking someone dependable and detail-oriented to help keep their home running smoothly.They already have a housekeeper on the opposite days of the week so you will work in tandem with them. Schedule Working days: Tuesday Thursday Saturday or Sunday (flexible on which weekend day works best) Hours: 5 hours per day (with flexibility on start/finish times) but ideal is 10-3pm or similar The family may occasionally request additional hours or a different day, with advance notice. Responsibilities You should be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping and caring for a home to a high standard. This includes: General cleaning and upkeep of the house Laundry and ironing Changing bed linen Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen Unpacking groceries Running errands (post office returns, dry cleaning, etc.) Wardrobe management Emptying bins and dishwasher Preparing the home for the familys return from travel (e.g., restocking the fridge, unpacking luggage) Letting in and liaising with contractors when needed A proactive approach, strong initiative, and excellent attention to detail are essential. Ideal Candidate At least 3 years of private housekeeping experience Excellent references Strong English communication skills Positive, can-do attitude Happy to work independently and follow instructions Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS (agency can assist) £18
