Job Title: Class 1 Driver - Steel Delivery (Temporary) - £14.00/hr + Overtime Location: Blackburn Job Type: Temporary Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour (Overtime: £21.00 per hour after 8 hours per shift) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for temporary work, specialising in the delivery of steel lengths and palletised stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have excellent load strapping skills and previous steel handling experience. Key Responsibilities: Safely transport steel lengths and palletised stainless steel to various locations. Ensure all loads are securely strapped and comply with safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. Requirements: Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence. Proven experience in delivering steel and palletised stainless steel. Strong load strapping skills. Previous steel handling experience is highly desirable.
