Job descriptionAre you are passionate about working with and inspiring children in fun activities?Do you want to make a significant and meaningful impact in the lives of children every day?If so our play leader role could be the perfect opportunity for you.Essex Professional Coaching are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Play & Activity Leader, who's superhero power will be to create a fun and enriching environment for children at our clubs!As a Wraparound Play and Activity Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging children at one of our Ofsted registered provisions in the Colchester area.Reporting directly to the settings lead, the Play and Activity Leader will be responsible for:- Assisting the settings lead with planning, preparing and delivering fun play opportunities within a safe and caring environment- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of the children in your care at all times- Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, schools, childcare and play related agencies and most importantly the children!Benefits of working with Essex Professional Coaching:FREE childcare services throughout the year (children aged 4 - 12)Access to training opportunities and Continuing Professional Development (CPD)Provided uniformPaid for social events by the companyEmployee assistance programmeFlexibility in your role and a job to work around you and your commitmentsPutting you at the heart of our recruitmentIf you possess that possesses the following skills, we would love to hear from you about this role:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenEnthusiastic, passionate and caring personalityAbility to manage and support a group of children with varying needs and behavioursKnowledge of Ofsted requirements principles and practices (desirable)Previous experience working in childcare or nursery settings (desirable)Interview StagesAfter shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 2 stage interview process:1. Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you in more detail2.
