Together, our team delivers sporting activities in a range of settings that positively impacts and engages thousands of children in physical activity on a weekly basis.We are looking to recruit passionate and caring sports coaches, to play a starring role in our vision of creating a healthier, more active Essex by inspiring and educating all through PE, Sport & Physical Activity.To be considered for the role we are looking for someone who:Displays an infectious enthusiasm for sport, physical activity and working with childrenHas the ability to communicate effectively with both young people and adultsFlexible and adaptable, with an ability to pivot and react positively to changesMaintains a professional attitude in the workplacePassionate and caring individualKey roles/responsibilities in the position:Plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, engaging PE lessons & extra curricular sports clubs in a primary school setting (up to 32.5 delivery hours during term time)Support & upskill primary school teachers and apprentice coaches within the company to develop confidence and competence in delivering PEDeliver fun and engaging childcare provision and activities at our holiday camps in the school holidays (up to 37.5 delivery hours during term time)Report on pupil progress and development in PE through termly monitoring and assessmentSkills, Experience & Qualifications required for the positionThe successful applicant will:Have experience of delivery physical education in a primary school setting, with knowledge of the national curriculumHold an NGB level 2 coaching qualificationHave access to their own transport, and be prepared to travel up to 30 miles of our office baseIdeally possess one of the following: Sport related honours degree in physical education or coaching or Level 3 diploma in supporting the Delivery of Physical Education in Primary SchoolsEmployee Benefits Include:Personal budget for external courses and workshops funded by the companySupport visits led by our head of training to support your individual development as a coachHalf termly staff social events paid for by the companyIncentives and performance related bonusesEmployee assistance programme to enhance your wellbeingFree new company uniform and equipmentOpportunity to progress within the company through our internal career pathway and progression ethosInternal training and CPD (Equivalent to 30 hours per year)Free school holiday childcare for children aged 4 - 12Monday to Friday working weekInterview StagesAfter shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 3 stage interview process:1. Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you in more detail2. Practical Delivery - If successful in stage 1 you will then be required to plan and deliver a session at one of our partner schools/camps based on a lesson objective provided by our team3.
