JOB – Maintenance Engineer LOCATION – Hampshire TERM- Permanent SALARY - £30,000 - £40,000, dependent on experience My client is a manufacturer in the Oil & Gas industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Hampshire on a permanent basis. The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering disciplineCome from a Mechanical backgroundKnowledge of Electrical equipment and installationsIdeally be experienced working with plant equipment / machinery in Oil & Gas, Energy or related industries Ideally be experienced in Maintenance and Process OperationsNEBOSH qualification would be beneficialAble to work safely and methodicallyExcellent organisational and communication skillsProven ability to work effectively in a teamA flexible and proactive attitude towards work The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:Working in a team to improve and maintain manufacturing machineryBeing proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipmentPPM and breakdown avoidanceEnsuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are metEnsuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the siteWorking with others and being an excellent team player If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
