We are seeking Automation Test Engineers with strong expertise in Cypress and JavaScript, who can work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams. The ideal candidates will play a key role in ensuring product quality across web and API layers, integrating seamlessly into DevOps pipelines, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.Job Responsibilities/Objectives Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScriptExecute cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack or LambdaTestIntegrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab)Collaborate closely with development and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environmentsUse tools like Jira, XRAY, and Confluence for test management and documentationDevelop and maintain API test scripts using Postman or Ready APIConduct Accessibility Testing (WCAG 2.1 compliance) using industry-standard toolsIdentify, document, and track defects, and support the development team in issue resolutionProvide insights to improve test strategy and QA processRequired Skills/Experience Experience with writing automation scripts in Postman or Ready API Accessibility Testing (WCAG 2.1) experience using any industry standard tool set Strong experience in managing Cypress Automation, JavaScript Experience in cross-browser testing (BrowserStack / LambdaTest) Proficiency in integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab Strong Agile/DevOps ways of working with good communication, and can work directly with the client Experience with test management tools such as Jira, XRAY, and Confluence In-depth knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsDesirable Skills/Experience Understanding of secure coding practices and security awarenessTelecom domain experienceDisclaimerNotwithstanding any guidelines given to the level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.Square One is acting as both an employment agency and an employment business, and is an equal opportunities recruitment business.
