Accounting and Reporting Manager – Lincoln - circa £45k Benjamin Edwards is recruiting for an Accounting and Reporting Manager for a high growth and successful business who strive to be industry leaders. As Accounting and Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Financial Controller to oversee the financial reporting process of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and ensuring that the overall financial reporting process for the business is robust and integrated. You will work closely with the finance leadership team and the group team. The role of Accounting and Reporting ManagerManage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and completeManage general ledger and deliver accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirementsDevelop and implement internal controls and procedures for this area to ensure the integrity of financial reportingOwn and manage the statutory accounts processResponsible for performing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial dataOversee the capitalization of fixed assets and ensure proper accounting treatment in accordance with company policies and accounting standardsDevelop and implement capital expenditure (CapEx) controls to monitor and manage capital projects effectivelyResponsible for preparing corporate tax returns, working with Group tax team to analyse, review and finaliseEnsure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings and auditsResponsible for cash reconciliations, cashflow, interest paymentsWorking with FP&A team to ensure that cash availability aligns to strategic funding requirementsLiaise with external auditors and manage the audit processLiaise with Group tax and Group internal auditorsPartner with business units on central cost areas, providing financial insights and support to drive cost efficiency and strategic decision-makingParticipate in special projects related to financial reporting and accounting as neededConduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-makingDeputising for the Financial Controller as required The ideal candidate for the role of Accounting and Reporting ManagerProfessional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, CIA, or equivalent (part qualified will also be considered)Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting and strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting software and experience in statutory accounts process and execution
