We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and play a key role in delivering consistently high-quality food and service. As Sous Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation and to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchenLead and support the team in preparation, cooking, and serviceMaintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanlinessHelp with menu development, stock control, and orderingTrain, mentor, and motivate junior chefs and kitchen staffStep in for the Head Chef during absence What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef or experienced Chef de PartieConfident running a busy kitchen section and leading by exampleA strong understanding of food safety and kitchen best practicesOrganised, calm under pressure, and excellent at time managementPassion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and high-quality foodA team player with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude Employment Type: Full time, hours 37.5 per week – includes 5 seven-hour shifts over 7 days 11am – 7pm Salary: £31,127 per annum
