Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Arnold Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeAre you a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work across schools in and around Arnold?GSL Education are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a variety of school settings in Arnold. Whether you're looking for daily supply, long-term roles, or part-time opportunities, we have roles to suit your schedule and strengths.Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll help pupils with their learning and social development, provide classroom support to teachers, and contribute to creating a calm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Responsibilities as Teaching Assistant: Support pupils with their learning during lessons, both individually and in small groups.Assist the class teacher in preparing resources and managing the classroom environment.Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a calm and focused setting.Support pupils’ social and emotional development through guidance and encouragement.Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers when needed. Requirements for TA: Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.A patient, caring, and proactive approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps explained.
