Job DescriptionA Chemistry Technician is responsible for maintaining lean, clean and efficient lab environment and for weekly equipment maintenance (HPLCs, freeze-driers, pipettes, balances, pumps). Chemistry Technician will also assist Chemists in synthesis and analysis of products and intermediates as directed by the overall Production Chemistry Schedule.What you’ll doWeekly equipment maintenance (HPLCs, freeze driers, balances, pipettes, pumps)Restocking all labs (production and QC) with consumables and work up solvents required (gloves, TLC plates, vials, Pasteur pipettes, brine, sodium bicarbonate etc)Assistance in production and analysis of products and intermediates as directed by overall Production Chemistry ScheduleLiaise with Material’s Team to ensure that reagents and solvents required to complete processes scheduled on Production Chemistry Schedule are availableContribute to ensuring and maintaining a lean, clean and efficient environmentContributions are made to writing and revising of documented proceduresRecords of work are complete and accurate.
