If so, Teaching Personnel would love to hear from you.The Role We are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bootle, Liverpool, to recruit a committed 1:1 Behaviour Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 4 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The pupil requires ongoing support related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and your role will be vital in helping them thrive both academically and personally.You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and wider school team to implement effective support strategies. This will include both in-class assistance and targeted interventions outside the classroom. Occasionally, you may also be asked to support other pupils with additional needs.Previous experience working 1:1 with children with EHCPs is desirable, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with relevant experience supporting children or adults with complex behavioural needs.The School This larger-than-average Bootle primary school is known for its strong community ethos and nurturing environment.
