Your work will directly impact vulnerable children and families across the borough.In this role, you will:Undertake section 17/47 assessments in line with statutory timescalesContribute to effective multi-agency safeguarding planningManage a caseload efficiently, prioritising riskWork collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children's safety and well-beingAttend court proceedings where required and prepare high-quality reportsRequirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:A Social Work degree or equivalentCurrent Social Work England registrationMinimum 2 years' experience in Referral & Assessment or Front Door teamsStrong knowledge of safeguarding frameworks and child protection proceduresAbility to manage cases under pressure and produce quality written workWorking Hours & Contract Details:Monday to Friday, full-time hours (37.5 per week)Ongoing contract with strong likelihood of extensionStable, supportive management team and a manageable caseloadWhy Choose Hunter Gatherer Social Work?At Hunter Gatherer, we connect exceptional Social Workers with high-quality roles across the UK.
