Job: WeldersLocation: Thirsk, North YorkshireDuration: on-going contract, temp to perm or permanent contracts Shifts: Days or Nights We are currently recruiting for a number of Welders for positions based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Our client is one of the largest and most successful steel-work contractors in the UK, they have recently won a large amount of work so are looking to extend their workforce.The successful applicants will ideally have structural steel welding experience. You will be responsible for achieving high quality standards in a safe manner within the production time scales.Dig allowance ( contractors only)- £40 per shift accommodation allowance - Must live over 50 miles from site to qualify (will require proof of address)- Proof of accommodation will be required- Allowance cannot be used for mileageShifts:* Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday -6.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm* Nights - Monday to Thursday 7:10pm to 6:40am & OFF Fridays Pay Rates (PAYE) : Days - £18.89 ( £43'220.32 per annum)Nights- £22.54 (£51'571.52 per annum)Overtime rates available. Candidates must be prepared to go on site for a weld test.
