Occupational Therapist – Worcestershire Location: Worcestershire Rate: £30.96 per hour Contract: Locum / Full Time | Hybrid Workig Worcestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team. In this vital role, you will:Deliver a specialist Occupational Therapy service, identifying options to enhance independence and reduce reliance on care.Use a wide range of tools, including equipment, assistive technology, manual handling techniques, and training to support clients.Lead on early reviews of post-hospital discharge packages, helping reduce long-term care needs and ensuring effective use of care resources.What we're looking for: ✔ HCPC registered Occupational Therapist ✔ Experience in community-based or hospital discharge services ✔ Strong knowledge of equipment provision, risk assessment, and reablement strategies ✔ Ability to work collaboratively with health and social care professionals This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives while working within a supportive local authority team.
