Social Worker- Children with Disabilities£35.00 per hourRotherham37 hours p/wAbout the role:Social work post within the Children's Disability Team.If successful you will be expected to be office based for a minimum of 3 days per week, however this could be more depending on the demands of the servicePrevious experience of working with children with disabilities, either in a current post of recent social work postWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced social worker who can work autonomously and be a team player, to support and work alongside colleagues within the team. The role requires social workers to;have good communication skills, working with children who are non-verbal and have individual communication needscomplete assessments for children and their familiesUndertake court work and PLO workComplete short breaks assessmentswork with a variety of professionals in health, education and social careCover duty within the teamrespond to safeguarding matters and carry out section 47 enquiries where appropriate To be considered for this post you must be registered with Social Work England and at least 3 years’ post qualifying experience across permanent positions in England.
