About the Role: Design and deliver engaging, differentiated mathematics lessons tailored to a range of learning styles and abilities.Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and enthusiasm for maths.Track and assess student progress, offering clear, constructive feedback to support ongoing development.Promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical confidence across all ability levels.Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach within the mathematics department.Take an active role in enrichment opportunities, including maths clubs, competitions, and school academic events. The ideal candidate will: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a focus or specialism in Mathematics.Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level is highly preferred.Demonstrates strong subject expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for both maths and teaching.Possesses effective communication skills and strong classroom management abilities.Dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic progress.Capable of inspiring students and encouraging a lasting interest and confidence in mathematics.
