Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Unit Coordinator for a local authority client in East London. In this role, you will provide administrative and organisational support to a busy social work unit, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to vulnerable children and families. Duties: Coordinate daily operations by managing diaries, meetings, and key statutory deadlines. Act as the first point of contact for children, families, professionals, and partner agencies. Maintain accurate records and systems, including case updates, financial transactions, and correspondence. Provide administrative support for reports, minute-taking, and multi-agency meetings. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to coordinate administrative systems and processes Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and care. Background in supporting frontline services or working within a social care setting (desirable).
