Science Technician Area- South Birmingham Salary-£13-£16 (Negotiable based on experience) Hours of work- Full time, Temporary Start Date- ASAP A busy school in the heart of South Birmingham are looking for a keen scientist to join their team science department. The school are seeking someone who is ready to start as soon as possible and can work effectively in a school environment. Job Description: Supporting both students and science teachers throughout the day Setting up equipment for practical lessons Ensuring that the students are using the apparatus accurately and safely Keep the lab clean, tidy and organised Able to manage the stock control of chemicals and equipment Assisting with any laboratory work and administration tasks The ideal candidate: The ideal candidate will have good IT skills, enjoy science and practical work and be familiar with modern scientific laboratory techniques.
