As an HLTA, position is ideal for someone capable of leading lessons, supporting pupils with varying needs, and contributing to a positive learning environment.Responsibilities as HLTA: Deliver pre-planned lessons in the teacher’s absence and lead learning activities across the curriculum.Provide targeted support to pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.Assist in planning, preparation and assessment under the direction of teaching staff.Support pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN.Help foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Requirements for the HLTA role: HLTA status or equivalent relevant experience in a school setting is desirable.Proven ability to lead and manage classroom activities independently.Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A detailed CV covering the last 10 years with explanations for any gaps.
