RG Consultancy are excited to be working with a fantastic manufacturing company based in Sale who are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who is looking to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment. You will assist with a range of accounting tasks, ensuring the smooth and accurate running of our day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities Processing invoices, expenses, and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts Assisting with month-end processes and financial reporting Managing accounts payable and receivable Supporting the Finance Manager with ad hoc administrative tasks Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls Requirements Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance assistant role Good understanding of basic accounting principles Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar) Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills Benefits Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (pro rata, depending on experience) 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) Flexible working arrangements Pension contributions after 3 months of employment Friendly and supportive team environment
