Job OverviewSeeking a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for a part time permanent position in one of the South Island's most sought after locations. Be part of a high-functioning regional orthopaedic service, delivering comprehensive elective and acute care. Scope of practice includes a mix of elective and acute surgery, including joint replacement, arthroscopy, trauma management, and general orthopaedics. Position Highlights 40 hour working week On call rota participation join a team of experienced and supportive SMO colleagues. 65 bed secondary care hospital Professional Requirements FRACS or equivalent specialist qualification Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand Remuneration Package Salary (ASMS scale depending upon experience) superannuation at 6% 6 weeks annual leave 12 days public holidays 10 days study leave plus NZD16K pa for expenses generous relocation package - be reimbursed a competitive relocation, accommodation, and car rental expenses Location: The Nelson Marlborough regionThis region, located at the summit of the South Island in Aotearoa, New Zealand, is spectacular.
