Maintenance Manager Location: Bedfordshire Salary: £65,000 + Bonus | Pension | Life Insurance Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am5pm (Days) Are you a proven leader in engineering with a passion for driving performance and improvement in fast-paced manufacturing environments? Synergi Search & Select are proud to partner with a high-performing manufacturing organisation in Bedfordshire, seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and develop their engineering function. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic, hands-on leader with an electrical background to drive positive change in a key site role. Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and develop a multi-skilled team of EngineersManage and oversee all planned and reactive maintenance activitiesControl engineering budgets and lead site CAPEX projectsChampion continuous improvement and deliver OEE gainsUphold site Health & Safety compliance and engineering standardsProvide hands-on support when required, balancing strategic goalsBuild strong cross-functional relationships to enhance site performancePrevious experience as a Maintenance or Engineering Manager within manufacturingElectrical bias and strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi)Proven ability to deliver CAPEX projects and manage budgetsStrong leadership skills, with a track record in team and stakeholder developmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodsExperience working in fast-paced, high-volume sectors such as FMCG or industrial manufacturing£65,000 base salaryAnnual bonus schemeGenerous benefits package including pension & life insuranceMonday to Friday days-based schedule no shiftsA visible leadership role with real scope to make a difference What You'll Bring: What's in it for You?
