SEN Teaching Assistant – Join a Fantastic Primary School in Newham! Location: Newham Pay: £90 – £105 per day Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm Contract: Long-term, Full-time ✨ Do you enjoy supporting children with special educational needs? If you’re experienced, compassionate, and love helping children reach their full potential – this could be the perfect role for you! What You’ll Be Doing as a SEN TA: Support children with SEMH needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviours Provide tailored 1:1 and group support across Key Stages 1 and 2 Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to follow personalised learning plans Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help boost their confidence Support with nappy changing, where required ✅ What We’re Looking From an SEN TA: Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant (or in a similar role) Comfortable supporting children with additional needs and personal care A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection A calm, flexible and resilient attitude Great communication and teamwork skills Relevant training or qualifications in SEN or child development are a bonus Why Join This School in Newham?
