About the Role: We are seeking reliable and empathetic Teaching Assistant's with a strong background in 1:1 SEN support to work within a range of primary schools in Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently with pupils who require additional support and will play a key role in helping them achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent 1:1 support to pupils with SEN, tailored to their individual learning and emotional needs Assist the classroom teacher in delivering differentiated lessons and managing classroom behaviour Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and engagement in learning activities Support academic areas including literacy, numeracy, and other key curriculum subjects Track progress and provide regular feedback to the class teacher and SENCO Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all pupils Assist with day-to-day classroom duties and support other pupils where required Essential Requirements: Previous experience providing 1:1 support to pupils with SEN (essential) A genuine passion for supporting children with diverse educational needs Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Willingness to travel between schools within Cambridgeshire What We Offer: A personal recruitment consultant to guide and support you Access to the Teaching Personnel App – manage your diary, view bookings, and update availability A wide range of CPD and training courses, including free safeguarding and SEN modules Opportunities for temporary roles to transition into permanent positions Competitive pay rates (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay) Ready to Apply?
