CNC Sliding HeadHours: 6am to 2pm / Monday to FridayLocation: KingswinfordSalary: £30,000 to £36,000 per annumWe’re currently seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a skilled precision engineering team. The role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC Star Sliding Head machines to produce high-quality components used in critical applications.What you’ll be doing:⦁ Programming, setting, and operating CNC Sliding Head (Star machines with Fanuc controls)⦁ Producing high-integrity components to tight tolerances⦁ Working from technical drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy throughout⦁ Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using appropriate measuring equipment⦁ Performing routine machine maintenance and keeping the work area clean and safe⦁ Collaborating with the production and quality teams to meet deadlines and optimise outputWhat we’re looking for:⦁ Proven experience in a CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator role (ideally in a high-integrity or precision environment)⦁ Strong knowledge of CNC programming (Fanuc)⦁ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances⦁ Good understanding of inspection and measurement techniques⦁ Positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, and ability to work independentlyWhat next?⦁ Do you have the experience?
