This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students with a creative and rigorous English curriculum.As an English Teacher, you will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment. You will play a pivotal role in preparing students for academic success, supporting their development, and promoting a love of literature and language.Responsibilities of an English Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through engaging teaching strategies.Monitor, assess, and report on student progress effectively.Provide pastoral care and guidance to support students' overall well-being.Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and supportive school community. Required Qualifications for an English Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK or equivalent teaching qualification.Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level.Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
