KS2 Teacher – Maternity Cover – Pickering AreaPart Time | Until Spring 2026 | Warm, welcoming village schoolWe’re looking for a KS2 Teacher to join a lovely school near Pickering on a part-time basis, covering a maternity leave until spring.This is a well-run, friendly setting with a strong staff team and supportive leadership. The class is settled and engaged, and the school is ready to welcome someone who can slot in, build great relationships, and deliver high-quality, consistent teaching a few days a week.You’ll be part of a calm, purposeful environment where planning is collaborative and expectations are realistic. Roles & Responsibilities:Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculumCreate a positive, inclusive classroom environmentSupport children’s academic, emotional and social developmentWork closely with the wider staff team and contribute to planning where neededProvide regular feedback to pupils and communicate with parents/carers as requiredMaintain strong behaviour routines and ensure children feel safe, valued and supported✅ What you’ll need:QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 2A kind, professional approach and strong behaviour managementThe ability to work as part of a team and keep things consistentA current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Whether you're looking to ease back into the classroom or for a stable, fulfilling part-time post—we’d love to hear from you.
