An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a well-regarded Main Dealer, located in Thetford.Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.Benefits:Competitive basic salary up to £34,000 (depending on experience)Realistic OTE of £40,000Structured working hours with minimal weekend commitment26 days holiday (pro-rata) plus all bank holidaysSupportive team environment with ongoing training and developmentA stable, well-run dealership with strong customer loyalty.Duties include but are not limited to:Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of VehiclesMOT TestingPerforming Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standardsRequirements:A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalentA Current and Valid UK Driving LicenceDedicated and committed approach.Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.Preferably obtain an MOT Tester Qualification.Your own Vehicle Technician toolsThe salary of this role is up to £34,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (½ hour unpaid lunch). You’re also scheduled to work 1-in-4 Saturdays, between 8:00am-12:00pm.
