Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a Secondary SEMH Teacher to cover PSHE / Life Skills / Preparing for Adulthood in a specialist provision in Leigh (WN7). Role Overview: Deliver PSHE, Life Skills, and Preparing for Adulthood lessons to KS3 and KS4 students Support young people with SEMH needs in a nurturing, specialist environment Work with small groups and individuals with EHCPs and complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges Use engaging, practical, and trauma-informed teaching approaches Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, or relevant teaching experience in SEMH settings Experience delivering PSHE, Life Skills, and Preparing for Adulthood curriculum Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills Calm, empathetic, and patient approach to teaching Commitment to supporting vulnerable learners to develop confidence and independence What’s on Offer: Work in a supportive SEMH provision with excellent staff ratios Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Competitive salary reflective of experience Opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives Apply Now: Send your updated CVAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
