We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lambeth to assist with the appointment of a Planner, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £149.16 - £196.42 per day Responsibilities: Process a variety of planning applications, from shopfronts and householder extensions to conservation area cases and lawful development certificates.Negotiate with developers, applicants, and internal teams to secure positive outcomes.Prepare professional reports, appeal statements, and evidence for hearings or inquiries.Provide planning advice in person, online, and in writing.Undertake site visits, public meetings, and community engagement exercises. Requirements: RTPI-recognised degree in Town Planning (or equivalent).Knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures.Experience in development control or a related planning field.Skilled in handling a range of minor planning applications and written representation appeals.
