This role offers a high level of responsibility with the opportunity to work largely unsupervised, while having all work reviewed by a manager. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality service and looking for a role with excellent development prospects, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Plan, evaluate, and complete work schedules in line with the firm’s audit procedures.Prepare financial statements from client source records, with supporting schedules for manager review.Undertake regular bookkeeping for clients, including the preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.Participate in planning work for various assignments.Guide and advise trainee and junior staff, delegate tasks where necessary, and suggest work for other team members.Chase outstanding queries with clients and manage the progress of assignments.Take responsibility for certain assignments, coordinating various services and planning internal reviews.Travel to clients’ premises for meetings or other work, including overnight stays as needed.
