Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools across LeicestershireGSL Education is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Leicestershire. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking classroom experience or those looking for a flexible role in education.Key Requirements: Strong communication skills with high levels of EnglishA proactive attitude and commitment to student developmentIdeally, a degree in a curriculum subject (not essential)Experience working with young people (preferably in a school setting)A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring students stay engaged and follow the lesson plan. You will help maintain a positive classroom environment, support students in their learning, and assist in ensuring lessons are delivered effectively.Key Responsibilities: Supervise students during teacher absence, ensuring they follow the lesson planManage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environmentSupport students with their work and encourage focusAssist with administrative duties, including taking registersReport any issues or concerns to relevant staff members Pay Rate: £100–£110 per day, depending on experience This role is ideal for those looking to pursue a career in education or seeking a flexible position.
