Recovery Worker - HMP Wormwood ScrubsLocation: LondonSalary: £25,207 per annumVacancy Type: Permanent, Part TimeClosing Date: 15 Sep 2025About The RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team, working with adults aged 18+ who are experiencing drug or alcohol-related issues. Our services combine both harm reduction and abstinence-based treatment approaches, tailored to the needs of each individual.As part of an integrated healthcare framework, you will: Manage a caseload of clients, delivering person-centred careProvide harm reduction advice and structured interventions (1:1 and group sessions)Develop and implement care plans and treatment programmesCollaborate with partner agencies such as housing, employment services, probation, and healthcare providersSupport service users through every stage of treatment, ensuring smooth transitions and continuity of careContribute to service targets, including key outcomes set by Forward and local commissioners All Prison based roles will require enhanced DBS and HMPPS security vetting. Please note this process can take up to 3 months.
