Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Sheffield, S13 Pay Rate: £86 – £100 per day Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a patient, enthusiastic, and supportive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join schools in the Sheffield (S13) area. As a Primary TA, this role provides the opportunity to support classroom learning, foster pupils’ confidence and development, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant: Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.Assist pupils with learning tasks, ensuring they are engaged and supported.Promote positive behaviour and social skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.Help prepare learning resources and support classroom organisation.Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupils’ individual needs.Maintain safeguarding and child protection standards at all times. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for supporting children’s learning and development.Ability to adapt support to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
