Attention all Electrical Design Engineers!
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. You will be required to attend the Manchester office on a hybrid basis whilst working on a varied portfolio of projects.
-Competitive salary ranging from £30,000-£50,000 (depending on experience).
-Hybrid working arrangement, 9-day fortnight pattern, generous annual leave, and company pension scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
-Work on diverse projects across sectors like Healthcare, Education, Science, Aviation, and Heritage.
-Support engineering design from concept to detailed specifications and conduct site surveys.
-Contribute to innovation, develop digital skills, and stay updated on emerging technologies.
-Engage in community initiatives (e.g., STEM outreach) and uphold industry standards through their management system.
-Build project management, procurement, and financial awareness while actively maintaining CPD.
What we are looking for:
-Strong understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design across all project stages.
-Previous experience within a consultancy.
-Working towards or achieved Chartered Engineer status.
-Ability to lead small projects and tasks and able to deliver and control tasks on medium to large scale projects.
-Confident communicator with the ability to be client and project team facing.
