Senior Care Assistant - Nursing Home (Dementia Care) Location: SurbitonPay: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (DOE)Hours: 36 hours per week (permanent) We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join a well-established nursing home in Surbiton, specialising in care for older people and individuals with dementia. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support to residents in line with individual care plans Administer medications and manage day-to-day health monitoring Support with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities Lead and supervise care staff during shifts Maintain accurate care records and contribute to assessments and reviews Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times Requirements: Previous experience in a senior care or team leader role within a nursing or residential home NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards) Strong knowledge of dementia care Confident in medication administration and shift supervision Excellent communication and leadership skills Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) If you're a dedicated Senior Carer looking to make a difference in a supportive and person-centred care environment, we'd love to hear from you.
