Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a global consultancy, in a permanent position. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (2 days a week) from either our client's Liverpool, Manchester or Leeds office. You will be working on a range of clean water and wastewater engineering projects.-Competitive salary ranging from £65,000-£75,000 (depending on experience).-Hybrid working arrangement, company pension scheme, and generous annual leave.Key Responsibilities:-Lead technical direction and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.-Collaborate with clients and D&B contractors to develop and deliver integrated design strategies.-Manage design progression across all phases, from feasibility to construction and commissioning.-Ensure quality, compliance, and risk management across all design outputs.What we are looking for:-Chartered engineer with post-chartership qualification (or equivalent) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process/Water Engineering.-Proven experience in clean water, wastewater, sludge treatment, CSOs, stormwater management, and water networks.-Strong leadership in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing client relationships.-Skilled in guiding design development, identifying preferred solutions, and managing stakeholders effectively.-Confident delivering projects from outline to detailed design, supporting construction and commissioning phases.
