Educational Psychologist (Project) - Waltham Forest £650 per day Waltham Forest Council Locum Contract We are seeking a dedicated Educational Psychologist to join the team in Waltham Forest. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, providing expert psychological advice and assessment to support statutory processes. Key Responsibilities:Respond to requests from the SEND Team within set timescales for statutory assessments of special educational needs.Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological advice to the Local Authority to inform the statutory process.Carry out robust, comprehensive assessments of children and young people, identifying developmental needs and recommending effective, tailored provision.Take into account educational, family, and community contexts when delivering assessments and advice.Requirements:Professional qualification as an Educational Psychologist recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Strong organisational, administrative, and IT skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships.Why Join Waltham Forest via Pertemps?Competitive £650 per day rateFlexible locum assignmentOpportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team making a meaningful impact
