Learning Support Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school on an agency basis, with the potential to move into a permanent role.The Role: Supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), and complex learning needs. Assisting with learning activities under the direction of teachers and SEN specialists. Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils engage, progress, and achieve their goals. Supporting with personal care and behaviour management where required. Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or educational setting. A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Benefits: Competitive hourly rate, paid weekly.
