XAD Technologies LTD UK is looking for an experienced Civils Operatives to join our team!. We are looking for hardworking and committed crew members for long term work. Civil Operatives will be required to perform excavations, repairs and reinstatement's, installation of ducting, chambers and street cabinets and the installation of cable on telecoms infrastructure. Responsibilities: Provide new installation of duct, chambers, cabinets & associated equipment. Locating and clearing of blockages in various surface types such as verge, footway and carriageway and reinstate to Purple Books / Local Authority standard ensuring all information / pictures are captured on company supplied assetExperience in all aspects of re-instatement in various surface types, i.e. Concrete, HRA, SMA, Paving, Cobble-lock, etcBox / Chamber building (Heavy Civils Crews)Open cut trenching and installation of new duct and associated equipment in all surface types, verge, footway and carriageway (public and private) (Heavy Civils Crews only)Sub-ducting and Install new draw rope or cable in new duct as requiredRisk assessing and hazard identification, with a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities.Excavating in the highways and complying with NRSWA Code of Practice 1991 and HSG47Compliance with Specification for Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH)Working in the UG and PIA network whilst adhering to Health and Safety legislation Knowledge Requirements: Full drivers licenseExperience in a similar operational or engineering environment within the telecommunications industryBe able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external clients Certification Required: NRSWA Essential Units 1- 3, 6,7, CSCS DesirableUnit 1 (LA), Unit 2 (O1), Unit 3 (O2), Unit 4 (O3), Unit 5 (O4), Unit 6 (O5), Unit 7 (O6), Unit 8 (O7), Unit 9 (O8)Q020 (DB1) & K008 & Q021 & Q13 & Q19
