1:1 SEMH & Wellbeing Support Tutor – September Start Reignite Confidence. Rebuild Trust. Reconnect Learners.Do you have experience supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you passionate about helping them re-engage through compassionate, trauma-informed support?TP Tutors is looking for dedicated tutors to provide 1:1 wellbeing-focused academic support across KS1–KS4. Many learners are out of school or in alternative provision and need a calm, consistent adult to help them rebuild confidence and routine. Your Role: Deliver 1:1 Maths or English with a focus on emotional safety and trust Support learners in safe, local spaces (e.g., homes, libraries) Use positive relationships, behaviour strategies, and small wins to build momentum Promote mental wellbeing and self-belief through every session We’re Looking For: SEMH, PRU, youth work, or alternative provision experience Calm, empathetic approach and strong behaviour support skills DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Why Join TP Tutors? £25–£50/hr (PAYE) – no umbrella deductions Flexible, meaningful work that changes lives Ongoing training in trauma-informed practice Support from SEMH-specialist consultants All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
