I'm currently working with a major client who is looking for a highly experienced Chartered Geotechnical Engineer (ROGEP) to join their team on a 12-month contract, based out of Manchester with flexible hybrid working. This is a senior, client-facing role suited to someone with 15+ years' experience, who is confident managing technical delivery while engaging with stakeholders at all levels. The Role: Lead on the preparation and delivery of Ground Investigation and Baseline Reports (GBRs). Act as the technical authority on geotechnical matters. Liaise closely with clients, providing expert advice and regular updates. Monitor and report on contractor performance, ensuring standards and deadlines are met. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project environment. What We're Looking For: Chartered Engineer (ROGEP) - essential. 15+ years' geotechnical experience, ideally across major infrastructure projects. Strong track record of delivering GBRs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to combine hands-on technical oversight with strategic input.
