Contract Role: SAP Finance Consultant Location: Hybrid - London Duration: 6 months (with potential extension) Outside IR35 We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Finance professional to support a large-scale transformation program. The role will involve working across S/4HANA and ECC landscapes, driving Finance design and integration activities, and providing deep functional expertise. Key Experience & Skills: 20+ years of experience in SAP Finance projects. Track record of delivering multiple full life-cycle S/4HANA implementations (at least two), alongside extensive ECC project experience. Strong background in managing transitional Finance states and/or integration linked to M&A or divestment activity. Hands-on experience implementing SAP Central Finance (CFIN). In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO), with strong ability to shape and validate future-state design. Expertise across key Finance areas such as Record-to-Report, financial master data, enterprise structure, financial planning, product costing, material ledger, group reporting, intercompany processes, and value chains. Strong understanding of S/4HANA vs ECC functionality differences within Finance/Controlling (e.g., parallel ledger, reconciliation, document splitting, profit center accounting, new asset accounting, financial close). Exposure to Analytics and Data platforms (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA). Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of FP&A solutions (e.g., Hyperion, SAC Planning, Anaplan). Exposure to newer S/4HANA Finance components such as PaPM or UPA. Understanding of Finance integration with other domains (Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations Planning, Inventory Management).
