Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out & Refurbishment)Location: Worthing (Mon & Fri office-based, 2–3 days on site, remainder hybrid)Salary: £40,000–£60,000 DOEHours: Full-time, 40 hours per weekAbout the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of MorganCarr, a vibrant construction consultancy delivering fast-turnaround fit-outs and refurbishments in hospitality, leisure, and creative sectors. Projects are short-cycle and often live, meaning the space continues to operate while transformation happens.This role is Quantity Surveyor first — strong cost planning, procurement, valuations, and final accounts — with additional project management exposure. You will typically manage 3–5 projects at a time across London and the South East.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage cost plans, budgets, and cashflowsLead procurement and tendering (subcontractors & direct packages)Manage valuations, variations, and final accountsSupport programmes/schedules to ensure on-time deliveryAttend sites 2–3 days per week to monitor progress and qualityBuild strong client and contractor relationshipsWork with JCT contracts in live environmentsRequirementsProven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (fit-out/refurbishment)Cost planning, procurement, and contractual knowledgeConfident communicator able to manage multiple projectsIT literate (Microsoft Office + QS software)Full UK driving licenceDesirableHospitality, leisure, or creative sector experienceRICS or CIOB membership (or working towards)Benefits£40k–£60k DOE + discretionary bonusHybrid working pattern25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + birthday offPension, cycle-to-work scheme, phone allowanceProfessional memberships + CPD supportRegular socials, Friday breakfasts, ski trip, on-site gym, office dogsHow to ApplyThis vacancy is being managed by People Finding Consultancy, acting as the in-house recruitment partner for MorganCarr.
