Job Title: Data Business Analyst (Insurance Industry Mandatory) Location: London Salary/Rate: £650 - £700 Per Day Inside IR35 Start Date: 22/09/2025 Job Type: Initial 3 Month Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Company Introduction We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Insurance Data Business Analyst to join their team in London. Job Responsibilities/Objectives You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and documenting data requirements within the insurance domain, creating clear and structured BRDs and Data Requirement Documents, facilitating stakeholder input, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions through effective SQL querying and collaboration with technical teams. Querying using SQL in the data verse. Create comprehensive Data Requirement Documents that outline data needs, business logic, and transformation rules. Ensure BRDs are clear, structured, and aligned with technical feasibility. Defines and supports scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity. Contributes to selecting the requirements approach. Facilitates input from stakeholders, provides constructive challenge and enables effective prioritisation of requirements. Establishes requirements base-lines, obtains formal agreement to requirements, and ensures traceability to source Required Skills/ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have the following: Insurance domain mandatory Strong proficiency in querying using SQL in the data verse. Experience writing BRDs (Business Requirement Documents) and working with technical teams.
