Position: Science Technician Location: Secondary School, Wandsworth, London Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic School Technician to join our Science Department. This is an ideal position for a fresh graduate or someone with some previous experience in a similar role. You will play a key role in supporting our teachers and students, ensuring that our science laboratories are well-equipped, safe, and ready for exciting experiments and practical lessons. Key Responsibilities: Assist in setting up and preparing laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons and experiments. Ensure the proper maintenance, storage, and handling of scientific equipment and chemicals. Support teachers with practical lessons and demonstrations. Ensure health and safety standards are maintained in the lab. Manage inventory and order supplies when necessary. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during practical activities. What We're Looking For: A fresh graduate or someone with prior experience in a science-related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for science and supporting students in their learning journey.
