Interim Solution Architect - Financial Services Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a global consulting firm for a hands-on Solution Architect to deliver critical design work for a platform transformation in the financial services sector. The role focuses on designing cloud-native, secure web applications and API frameworks across distributed data environments. Key Details: Start: ASAP (2-week onboarding window) Location: Hybrid - City of London (1-2 days onsite) Duration: 6-month contract, likely extension Rate: £600.00 per day via PAYE (PLUS 12.07% holiday pay - PAYE with employer's NI & tax deducted at source. No umbrella company admin fees.) Requirements: Deep experience designing scalable enterprise web applications across financial services Strong AWS cloud experience across application and integration layers Familiarity with design of APIs, data lakes, BPM processes, and microservices Track record of working with engineering and risk functions to deliver secure solutions Comfortable designing for high-resilience, regulated environments in financial platforms Preferred: Background in financial data platforms, index providers, or investment/asset management Experience in BPM tooling and leading application modernisation efforts Working knowledge of real-time data services or trading platforms Additional: Full financial/criminal checks will be carried out.
