SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilitiesDeliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve their academic goalsAssess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordinglyCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience working with students with SENKnowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant fieldExperience:
At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of SEN legislation and best practisesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needsOrganisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational NeedsTraining in specific SEN interventions and techniques
Working Conditions:
The role of SEN Tutor involves working with students in educational settings, collaborating with teachers and parents, and adapting to the individual needs of students with SEN. The position is part-time and temporary, requiring flexibility in working hours.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
